Adherence with the standard treatment regimen for the treatment of COVID-19 patients in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University

The present study was conducted to evaluate the adherence standard treatment regimen in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) for of corona virus disease 19 (COVID-19) patients. assessed awareness prescribers, guidelines and reasons non-adherence. A questionnaire survey followed by a retrospective prospective medical review in-depth interview. revealed that 79.9% key prescribers are aware guidelines. Adherence 28.4% moderate cases 53.3% severe difference highly statistically significant (p<0.001). highest patients with hypertension (43.3%) lowest bronchial asthma (16.6%). diabetes (80%) (20 %). In COVID-19 patients, International Guideline (96%), institutional (74.6%) National (23.5%). There is variation extent different age group co-morbidities categories guidelines.
